03 — How a qualified document request is handledVerification
Identify the requesting organisation and contact
State the company you represent, your role in it and the person who will receive the documents. Anonymous requests are declined.
State the proposed relationship and diligence purpose
Onboarding, credit review, audit or a specific transaction under discussion. The purpose determines which records are relevant.
Agree confidentiality and the document scope
We confirm which categories can be released and on what confidentiality terms before anything is sent.
Exchange materials through the approved channel
Documents go to the named recipient at the named company, through the channel agreed in step 03, and are not published or forwarded onward by FORET.
Resolve questions against current documents before contracting
Where anything differs from the live registry record, the registry is correct. Raise it before signature, not after.
